Save & Splurge Athleisure Inspo

Updated: Aug 29, 2020

Growing up, I was ALWAYS active. Whether I was outside playing with friends or on various sports teams, I was always running around and tiring myself out. Since that was was my daily vibe, I always had a closet curated for outfits to fit those activities — so it’s no surprise that I have always loved a good athleisure look for my time outside of the gym! For this week’s post, I have put together some athleisure inspo looks from 4 of my favorite places to shop: Target & Old Navy for savings and Lululemon & Outdoor voices for a good splurge!

Target is one of my favorite places to shop for just about everything. Their merchandisers know what they’re doing, and they’ve curated a really amazing spread of affordable athleisure clothes! From the simple white hat, to the comfy yet functional clothes, to the cutest sneakers, they have it all with no individual item from this spread costing more than $30!

Old navy is another store that has it all, including one heck of an athleisure section. Their athletic clothes are always super high quality, and I can’t get enough of the print on these leggings and bike shorts! My favorite thing about Old Navy is that they’re pretty much always running a sale. Whenever I want some good, neutral, trendy pieces to diversify my wardrobe, they are a definite go-to!

A friend introduced me to Outdoor Voices about a year ago and I have been SO impressed with their stuff. They are committed to minimizing their carbon footprint, and their clothes are amazingly well made. Their pieces are generally very simple, but I really loved the fall color floral print on the crop bra in this look. Their pieces are an investment, but they’re 100% worth it in my opinion!

I have been shopping with Lululemon forever, and they’re another brand that I consider to be 100% worth the investment. They offer a good mix of neutral and statement pieces (as can be seen here — I honestly can’t get enough of that coat and cute little leopard print bra!), and I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of anything that I’ve bought with them!

I feel like all of the looks in this post are super cute and full of closet staples. They’d all be super cute to throw on for a trip to the airport or your local coffee shop, and could all work together really nicely! All of the photos in this post are shopable - click any of them to find all of the pieces listed on my LIKEtoKNOW.it profile!
