Lately I have been noticing that I can't seem to get enough blush pink elements in my wardrobe. I have items ranging from jackets, to dresses, to purses, to shoes in this super cute color and I am loving it. So, today I will be listing out the reasons that you should incorporate in your wardrobe as well!
It's never overwhelming
As I mentioned, I have a ton of items in this color. Some brighter pinks can be overwhelming if you wear to much of it, but I have never found it to be the case with the blush pink shade. Whether you decide to wear it as an accent or as the main element of an outfit, it will always be a welcome addition.
It's great for summer
Growing up outside of Chicago, I learned that light colors are always best to wear on hot, humid days. Darker colors are theorized to attract sunlight, which will leave you hotter when you wear them. Blush pink is a suer cute shade to wear in the summer since it is a fun, happy color, plus it also has the added benefit of keeping you cooler than you might be otherwise.
It adds a perfect touch of girliness
Whether you are dressing for work or play, I have found that blush pink is the perfect soft pop of color to add to an outfit. I love adding it to an edgy look to soften the figurative edges of the look, and I also love to incorporate it in my work looks since I work in a male-dominated field where girliness can be rare!
It goes with everything
Some pops of color can be hard to match with anything besides black or white. One of my favorite things about blush pink is that it goes with a ton of different colors, which means that there are a bunch of different outfit opportunities. I love wearing it with a blue denim jacket, and it also looks amazing with brown/beige shoes and accessories!
