As some of you may know, Ned and I had to cancel all of our wedding celebrations this year due to COVID-19. It was really hard to watching something that we worked so hard to plan vanish into thin air, but I am happy to say that we have found a new, special way to celebrate our marriage. In a couple weeks, we will be going to Washington's Pacific County to have an intimate courthouse wedding, and will stay in nearby Long Beach at a scenic hotel with private access to a coastal beach! Naturally, all of this excitement has got me thinking about what we will be wearing, so I wanted to put together some looks that I have been putting together that I hope will inspire you for your next beach getaway!
You can really never go wrong with a good boho-inspired beach look, so I am really lovin the boho-chic look that I put together! This look is simultaneously functional and cute, and it incorporates pieces that you can wear season after season!
I have the swimmie and shoes highlighted here, and I absoltely love them both! I love outfits that are subtly sexy, and I feel like this look really fits the bill. I added a bit of color and flair with the headband since I absolutely love cheetah print, but it would also be cute in any kind of black, white, or grey pattern!
Since we are hitting the beach in celebration, I felt like it would be fun to incorporate a good old tropical print in my lineup! When I am highlighting a print in an outfit I like to keep one piece as a statement piece, and compliment it with simple coordinating pieces. The woven bag maintains the beachy vibe, as do the white Steve Madden sandals and flowy cover up!
